Jamaica Cottage Shop Vermont Cabin Build
October 31, 2023
Just putting the finishing touches on our first Jamaica Cottage Shop 24x30 "Vermont Cabin" build. It was built on a full walkout basement, we framed in one of the 30 ft walls with a door and 2 windows. And because it was on a basement vs. a slab, they purchased the floor package with supporting post and beam structure to hold up the middle, which we also built. It was a full loft with 2 large 48 in x 48 in windows, one on each side. The main floor had two doors and 8 smaller 36 in x 36 in windows. Total sq ft 1440. It took my son and I about 5 weeks to complete. The second Vermont Cabin build is in process and the third is on the books for Nov/Dec 2023. To book yours for 2024, contact us at 603-313-1504.

2023 Hannah Grimes Pitch Event
May 3rd, 2023
Wrapped up our Business Lab at the Hannah Grimes Center in Keene. Our Pitch Event went well, met some great folks and lots of people got introduced to up and coming local businesses, including ours. A big thanks to all my fellow participants and the staff at the Hannah Grimes Center.

NH State Home Show
March 2, 2023
We will be at the NH State Home Show this weekend (March 4-5 2023) in Manchester. And also in Keene April 1-2, 2023. We'll have a 1/12 scale model of our 384 sq ft 1.5 story house, complete with movable walls, staircase, and furniture so you can get a feel for the space and see what floor plan works best for you. We've also invited Doug Smith from Beechwood Tiny Homes to join us. Come check us out and see how we can help build your dream home that allows you to follow your other dreams.

Crowdfunding Campaign Update

We did it!! We met our in initial crowdfunding goal. Thank you everyone. Now the real works starts. I have a lead on a 17 acre horse farm in Marlborough, I've been in discussions with a potential investor, and 2 customers have reserved spots...so while we still have a long way to go, we're making good progress...very exciting. Actively seeking additional leads on land to build on, either one unit or 20, investors/partners to help fund projects, and of course customers that want to live in a smaller house.

We can build a watertight shell (framing walls and floors, windows, siding, roofing and exterior trim), coordinate the entire build from start to finish (including insulation, flooring, sheetrock, kitchen, bath, electric, plumbing, etc.) or help with anything in between.
Design and Construction Consulting/Training
We absolutely encourage individuals to build themselves if they have the time and ability. Just about anyone can do it with a few tools and a little help. It's a great way to build sweat equity and self confidence. If you need some help getting started or get in a bind along the way, we're here to help.
